Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by SYPartners and our marketing partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the Digital Tools, tracking users’ movements around the Digital Tools and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.
We use cookies to remember users’ settings (for example, log-in state and language preference). Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Digital Tools, but your ability to use some features or areas of our Digital Tools may be limited.
Log Files. As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include but is not limited to Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. We do link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you. We do this to improve the services we offer you and ensure proper site functionality.
Local Storage (HTML 5). We use Local Storage, such as HTML5, to store content information and preferences. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our Digital Tools use Local Storage such as HTML 5 to collect and store information. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5.
We collect information, some of which may be Personally Identifiable Information, that you voluntarily provide to us when you choose to use some of our online services (available either for free or on a subscription basis) such as the Community Areas, or use our products or services.
We use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide our services and products and to communicate with you regarding such services and products. We may also use your Personally Identifiable Information on an anonymous and/or aggregated basis for any purposes related to SYPartners' business, products or services, including without limitation, any commercial purpose. In addition, we may use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide information you have requested, to resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems. We also may use and/or share your Personally Identifiable Information: (i) to respond to specific inquiries made by you; (ii) to provide our services and products; and (iii) to customize, measure, and improve our products, services, content, and layout. In addition, we may analyze and use your Personally Identifiable Information and supplement it with other information we obtain to notify you and target advertising to you regarding special offers, products, services, and information that we think may be of interest to you, and to measure the advertising effectiveness of advertisements on our Digital Tools.
We use your Anonymous Information for the purposes of system administration, providing certain site functionality and content, site tracking, and collecting and reporting aggregate usage information. We may combine Anonymous Information with your Personally Identifiable information to notify you of special offers and target advertising and other content to you.
We may disclose information (including Personally Identifiable Information) about you to our affiliates. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "affiliate" means any person or entity which directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with SYPartners, whether by ownership or otherwise. Any Personally Identifiable Information relating to you that we collect through our Digital Tools and provide to our affiliates will be treated by those affiliates in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, your username, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication. Identity theft and the practice currently known as "phishing" are of great concern to us. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is our top priority. For more information about phishing, you may want to visit the Federal Trade Commission's website here.

If you have opted-in to receive e-mails from us through either of the foregoing methods, to stop receiving e-mails from us, please see our opt-out policy described below. We will never sell, rent, or share your Personally Identifiable Information, including your email or phone number with any third parties for marketing purposes without your express permission. We may share your Personally Identifiable Information with our service providers for the purpose of delivering our products, services and/or e-mails to you or as required by law.
Our users are given the opportunity to opt-out of emails to which they have previously opted-in, either through registering as a user of our Digital Tools or contacting us at info@syp-and.com as described in the "Opt-in Emails and Offers" section above. This does not apply to emails that relate to our Digital Tools information, Terms & Conditions, your account and purchases or that are automatically generated by the system (registration confirmation emails). For example, even if you have unsubscribed from our promotional email messages, we will still send you confirmations when you purchase any of our services. Users who no longer wish to receive our promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the Unsubscribe link provided in emails.
Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy, we will not share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties.

("Slack")) may be viewed and used by others. Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, rent, trade, or give away any of your Personally Identifiable Information including your last name and your email address. If you post Personally Identifiable Information that is accessible to the public online, you do so at your own risk. Be aware that you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties as a result. We are not responsible or liable for any such unsolicited messages. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
We engage certain third parties to perform various functions and provide services to us (for example, web hosting services, messaging services, maintenance services and data collection services). These third parties may have access to some of your Personally Identifiable Information and/or your activity on our Digital Tools or Community Areas, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Additionally, in using our Digital Tools, you may utilize services provided by other third parties, such as Slack, which may have access to some of your Personally Identifiable Information. We are not responsible for the privacy of any information you reveal or post through Slack, or for the privacy practices of Slack. To learn how Slack uses your information, please see their privacy policy here.
We may choose to disclose some or all of your Personally Identifiable Information if required by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonable necessary to comply with legal process, enforce this Privacy Policy and/or our Terms and Conditions or other terms and conditions applicable to our services or products, or protect the rights, property or safety of SYPartners, any third party, or the public, or to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally questionable activity. Although we make every effort to preserve your privacy, we may be required by law to disclose information you have provided in obtaining our services or using our Digital Tools. We may also disclose information to law enforcement personnel regarding anyone who poses a threat to our interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others.
If any or all of our assets are acquired by, or merged with, another entity, we will share some or all of your Personally Identifiable Information with that entity. You will be notified via email and/or a notice on our Digital Tools of any change in ownership, as well as any choices you may have regarding your Personally Identifiable Information.

Such updates, corrections, changes, and deletions will not have an effect on other information that we maintain, or information that we have provided to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy prior to such update, correction, change, or deletion.
You should be aware that it is not technologically possible to remove each and every record of the information you have provided to us from our systems. The need to back-up our systems to protect information from inadvertent loss means that a copy of your Personally Identifiable Information may exist in a non-erasable form that will be difficult or impossible for us to locate. We promise that promptly after receiving your request, all Personally Identifiable Information stored in databases we actively use and other readily searchable media will be updated, corrected, changed, or deleted, as appropriate, as soon as reasonably practicable.
We will retain your Personally Identifiable Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services or to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We place great importance on the safety and security of your Personally Identifiable Information. We employ certain physical, procedural, and technological measures in an attempt to protect your Personally Identifiable Information from unauthorized access and use. Although we do attempt to keep your Personally Identifiable Information secure, no security measures are perfect; there is always a possibility that a security breach could occur, resulting in the release of Personally Identifiable Information.
Our Digital Tools may contain links to other websites, in several places. In addition, through our Digital Tools, you may be given the opportunity to purchase (or to obtain more information regarding) certain content, products, or services which are sold through a person or company other than us. We will attempt to make it clear to you when you are dealing with a third party by opening a new browser or otherwise notifying you that you are leaving our Digital Tools. For example, if you see a phrase such as "powered by" or "brought to you by" followed by the name of a person or company other than SYPartners or any of its affiliates, then you are likely on, or about to enter, a website hosted or operated by a person or company other than us. You should pay particular attention to which website you are visiting when submitting any Personally Identifiable Information to these websites. This Privacy Policy addresses the use and disclosure of only that information that we collect from you through our Digital Tools. Different rules may apply to information you submit to other websites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of those websites.
The first time you log in to our Digital Tools, you are required to use Sign in with LinkedIn. This service will authenticate your identity and will share certain Personally Identifiable Information with us such as your name, profile photo and email address to pre-populate our sign-up form. Services like Sign in with LinkedIn give you the option to post information about your activities on our Digital Tools to your profile page to share with others within your network. We are not responsible for any Personally Identifiable Information provided to or collected by LinkedIn. For information regarding how LinkedIn may collect or use your Personally Identifiable Information, please see their privacy policy here.
Our Digital Tools are not directed toward persons under 13 years of age. The content on our Digital Tools may not be appropriate for children. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13 ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE OUR DIGITAL TOOLS, and we require that children between the ages of 13 and 18 obtain their parent's or guardian's consent before viewing our Digital Tools.
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personally Identifiable Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at info@syp-and.com. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personally Identifiable Information, we will remove such information from our files.

In addition, we may allow third party service providers to collect personal data from your activity on or use of our Digital Tools, as described in the "Third Party Service Providers" section above.
